Shreeji Idli Mix

An alternative to the spicy steamed semolina cake rice-lentil, Idli. Rawa Idli is made from semolina, tempered with spices, blended with yoghurt & steamed.

Direction of Use

  • Heat the required water, in Idli maker on low flame.
  • Mix 200gm. Shreeji Rawa idli Mix in 300-325 ml approx. (3 cup) water. Stir to form smooth batter & set aside for 5 minutes.
  • Grease a set of idli moulds with oil, again stir the batter gently and pour the batter in each mould and close the lid. Turn the flame high for 15-20 minutes; allow the steam to pass out.
  • When cooker cools down, take out the idli from idli maker & serve with coconut chutney and tomato sauce.

Ingredients

Semolina (85%), Urad dal flour, Salt Chana dal, Dehydrated green chilli, Dehydrated curry leaves, Mustard seeds, Dried ginger powder, Asafoetida powder, Acidity Regulator (E 330, E 262 i) & Raising Agent (E 500 ii).
